VISION
A world class PCP-accredited training institution that produces competent, socially-aware and compassionate physicians equipped for research and teaching, dedicated to deliver ethical healthcare services to patients and medical education to students.
MISSION
To provide and maintain quality medical care and training through:
1. Adherence and proper conduct of PCP-accredited Residency Training Program geared towards producing skilled internists equipped to pass the Philippine Specialty Board of Internal Medicine and ultimately become fellows of the Philippine College of Physicians.
2. Provision of opportunities for CME and training of its medical consultants and resident physicians
3. Enhancement and support of the research capabilities and endeavors of medical consultant staff and resident physicians.
4. Active participation of its members in extension services especially to the underprivileged and underserved members of the society.
5. Collaboration of the department with the WVSU College of Medicine in providing clinical education and training of medical students in the domain of its Internal Medicine curriculum
